I started this round of squad leading hanging out with Team Bloom of L Squad.

What’s up friends 🙂

I spent my first two and half weeks on the field with them and enjoyed every second.

They are intentional in the way they serve the people around them. They are often asking how they can better serve or what more they can do.

They are hungry for more. They dive into Scripture, and so casually discuss what they are reading and learning. It is my MOST favorite thing ever. They ask intentional questions. And I have been asked questions that I have never been asked before, which is the bomb.

They are a team of POWERHOUSE women of God and I am confident they will move mountains.

They celebrate SO well. For my and Morgan’s birthdays, they celebrated big. But you can just as often catch them cheering about the small things because they just carry a spirit of celebration. Like when we have dance parties in the rain – thanks friends, it’s one of my love languages.

Savanna – My girl Sav is a teacher, yes by profession, but also by heart. She brings perspective and clarity and understanding. She loves the Lord a whole lot and is super quick to tell you so.

Steph- has a HUGE servant heart and encourages anyone within earshot. She sees the good in people and is constantly moved by compassion.

M. Noons – carries JOY, like huge, radiating joy that is the most contagious, ask any of the locals who don’t understand a thing she says, but understand her JOY.

Caroline- is capable and solid. She is reliable and ready to lend a helping hand. She fights for people, particularly those seen as less than, and has a deep passion for youth ministry and impacting the generations

Morgan C – has a spirit of worship like no other and asks THE MOST intriguing and deep questions. She’s a rock star and always down for an adventure.

Dana – wants more of God and nothing will stop her. She is determined and persistent and fierce, all wrapped in humility and friendship.

I see Jesus in each one of them.

Thanks for a great start to this round of squad leading Team Bloom you are an eager group of wildly powerful women of God, can’t wait to see what the rest of this journey holds for you.

Love,

Kayla

  1. But of COURSE they’re hungry and wanting more and seeking for ways to serve and asking good questions and celebrating people well. They’re being led by the best of the best – the powerhouse of powerful women of God.

I am forever proud of you. It’s an honor to watch you lead this season so well!
