Quarantined in Wisconsin

I am quarantined in Wisconsin currently. We had a positive Covid test on one of the teams just before our travel back to Atlanta.

So instead of getting on the bus Wednesday morning as planned, we re-adjusted. We are on day 5 of quarantine while the other 2 teams continued their travel plans and are in Georgia preparing to launch internationally to Guatemala.

Everyone is feeling well and the one person experiencing mild symptoms now feels completely well.

We plan to travel to Georgia this week as long as we all have negative Covid tests. Please Lord!

After we travel to Georgia for a few days we will join our squad in Guatemala!

I have also recently learned that after Guatemala we will be traveling to Costa Rica!

All you guys know my heart for international missions and culture, so I’m sure you can imagine how excited I am to be able to travel internationally. And I do not take that privilege lightly right now.

Beyond that I’m excited for G squad to be able to launch internationally. They have been waiting for this for some time now and have embraced change after change in their plans with Covid. I’m so excited to watch them step out in ministry and in the gifts they have been given.

The Lord has shown me a ton this month and in this whole quarantine process, more on that coming soon.

I’m the meantime I am still fundraising for my time on the field!

This “Adopt-A-Box” fundraiser will help me get fully funded.

Basically the box equals that same dollar amount for example box 7 = $7. You “adopt” a box by donating that amount of money. I’ll cross them off as we go!

**updated to show boxes that have already been adopted! Thank you for all the love!

Thanks for following along in this adventure with me,

Kayla
